Off the inside draw Al Asha should bounce straight to the lead and set a solid tempo. PURGATORIO (8) was prominent from the outset and fought on for second last start over 1400m at this track, making it three minor placings in a row. Well placed this line-up and there is no reason why he cannot find winning ways. AL ASHA (1) made progress last time out, finishing 5 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1500m at this venue after being in the firing line on the corner. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. LORD STOUT (4) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 4.5 lengths away in sixth last time out over 1500m here. Nicely placed to take this out. AKINO IROKUSA (9) returned from a spell two weeks ago when she was in contention on the bend before being beaten 5 lengths into seventh over 1500m at this course. Strips fitter now and can turn things around.
