Genuine tempo from Raymond's Reward leading Starry Jack. STARRY JACK (1) showed plenty of grit when beaten a head first-up. Is sure to have come on with that run under the belt and has enough dash to offset the wide draw. Gets an important claim and is well placed to break a long run of outs. RAYMOND'S REWARD (2) couldn't live up to market expectations at Parkes but was far from disgraced. Is another that will roll forward from the wide draw and has enough running in the legs to keep finding. SKEPTICAL (11) broke through in style at Inverell. Drops back to a sprinting trip but will appreciate the anticipated tempo. No reason she can't go on with it now. DIAMONDSAREMIO (5) found the going tough first-up at Gosford but is fitter now and capable of improvement. In the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Starry Jack to win.
