Several of these have terrific gate speed so the pressure will be on from the outset. THE REAL PRINCE (8) was impressive when winning on debut over this distance at Kenilworth. He returns from a spell during which time he was gelded. If not in need of this run he should remain unbeaten. DONQUERARI (1) was running on well when finishing second over 1000m at Scottsville last time. He has won once, finished second once and third twice from seven starts on this course. Apprentice Brevan Plaatjies retains the ride and the combination merit healthy respect. EXCEPT TEMPTATION (5) last three starts have been good. He won his only attempt over this course and distance, three runs back. Has each-way claims. WILLIAM RUFUS (6) finished a close-up fourth over 1400m at this track when resuming from a spell last start. Strips fitter and can improve.
