The race pace looks okay in this Maiden Steeplechase but the leaping could well leave a lot to be desired so expect some mistakes here. SWEET TABOO (1) has had three runs as a Steeplechaser for two placings. He is a win chance in a field like this without a doubt. PONTARDAWE (6) lost his rider at the first fence in a Steeplechase here early June. He was a Steeplechase trial winner recently. Will give a sight here for sure. MAGIC CANNON (2) has been distant in both runs after a long break. Course proven. Seven runs as a Steeplechaser for four placings and three fourths. UNCLE CHARLIE (9) makes his Steeplechase debut here. Poor at last start as a Hurdler but not too bad in both runs prior. CIVIL UNREST (4) is yet to complete a jumping run. Trial second in a jumping heat mid-April. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sweet Taboo and Pontardawe are win wagers.
