Expecting a strong pace headed by Win Verano, Lady On Stage and I'll Believe. SERIO VELOCE (13) looked good at his only appearance eight months ago over 1800m at Kyoto, finishing second and beaten half a length. Sure to have improved over the break and should be in the finish again. SAKURA ADRIA (2) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1800m at Fukushima, beaten 2 lengths. Fitter and draws a far better gate so expect a better run this time. WIN VERANO (11) started at $3.60 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 4.5 lengths at Kyoto over 1600m after being in contention on the turn. Nicely placed to turn things around. KINTRA DANCER (15) has been kept fresh for this after she was strongly fancied last time but beaten 6 lengths into eighth over 1400m at Niigata. Should race handy and must be respected.
