Has a sound record here with two top-three finishes from three starts. Looks ready for that breakthrough win. OBIDOS (10) found the line strongly last time out when second over 2400m at this track at his third run back. Starting to put it all together now and is expected to be in the finish. CLARET (3) was beaten just a head last start and landed his first top-three finish in the process over today's course and distance. Looks close to a win and is among the main chances. MEINER FISCHIO (6) has been in the placings at his last two starts, finishing second last time over 2200m at Niigata. Hard to leave out.
