Just a moderate tempo given the absence of pacy gallopers. Couple of 2YO races to start the day, the first being a smaller field where all but two have raced. HEIWANA TAMASHI (4) and BAYOU MUSIC (2) come through the same race and there's no reason why Heiwana Tamashi can't again have the Godolphin colt's measure. Heiwana Tamashi raced in restricted room for much of the straight and while easily held by the winner, he was still able to beat home Bayou Magic, who seemed to have every chance. GABLE (1) is the only winner in the race and has already been tested in Stakes grade, albeit well-held, so certainly comes under consideration. DEKKA'S LATEST (3) is on debut and has looked sharp enough in jumpouts much shorter than the debut assignment, which can be considered a positive. AGGRESSIVE (5) will be better for the debut and suited out in trip. SUGGESTED PLAY: Heiwana Tamashi to win.
