One of the genuine hopes in the race. MAHEALANI (7) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race when fresh from a spell last time out, finishing second and beaten only 2.5 lengths over 1400m at this track after being in the firing line on the corner. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. DAIMEI KOSUZU (9) finished out of the money two starts back then he was always well out of his ground and was beaten 12 lengths when sixth over 1300m at this track two weeks ago. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. PICCOLINA (5) produced another moderate effort last start when 19 lengths from the winner in 12th over 1400m at this track. Capable of featuring prominently.
