Senior rider sets the tone. Makes appeal on an each way basis. STARPHISTOCATED (6) is headed for longer trips but looks on song for a first-up tilt after a smart trial effort recently. Expect a string fresh showing. CALIFORNIA SECRET (5) arrived from another postcode to win in country grade first up. Harder here but race fitness a big plus. CARDI BEE (3) is lightly-raced but showed promise in NZ, winning when last seen. Could make an immediate impact on this side of the Tasman. SUGGESTED PLAY: Isla Negra each way.
