Good early pressure anticipated with a large contingent of first starters. SANDY GRIP (12) resumes for the top metro stable and has mostly raced in town. She won a recent trial here, suggesting she's on song. Draws awkwardly, but Lang is a positive jockey booking. SOCIALLY RED (8) showed plenty in Victoria and will be better for the two outings for the Wallace yard. Has a handy 2kg claim and some gear tweaks. Quick improvement is likely. SIGNATURE TART (6) led and missed a whisker here two back on debut. Maps well and will be naturally improved. Keep safe. PETITE PALACE (5) is trialling well ahead of her return and is aided by the draw. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Sandy Grip each way.
