Seil should lead but there are a few other speedy types who can keep him honest. MOZU FLASH (15) ran on strongly only to just miss last start over 1400m at Kyoto Dirt. Should be near her peak for this. Hard to beat in this suitable race. HAKKOICHIU (10) will find this a little easier than his second on debut two weeks ago, beaten a neck at the end of 1400m at Kyoto Dirt. Will benefit from that experience so he is worth following up. VAL MIRACLE (13) is back at the races for the first time since April 12. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 1400m at Chukyo Dirt. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race. VOSNE ROMANEE (4) ran a better race when second-up last start, finishing 0.8 lengths away in fourth over 1400m at Kyoto Dirt. Better than recent efforts suggest.
