Good early pressure anticipated with a large representation of first starters. CELESTIAL DIAMOND (4) produced a promising debut effort when third of 11 over this course and distance last start. The manner in which she finished off her race that day was encouraging. She would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, she may be the one to beat. TULIP FIELDS (13) ran a good race on debut, despite excuses. She was awkwardly placed at the start and the saddle was reported to have slipped in the running. She would have gained from her debut experience and can improve to pose a threat. WATER HYACINTH (2) has produced two decent efforts to date.
