Finished 1.75 lengths from the winner in second last start over 1400m at this track. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. ALTE BOY (11) has raced twice. Was third on debut then clocked-in 6 lengths from the winner in fifth last time out over 1600m at this track. Expected to prove tough to beat. TAKKA VALIANT (12) finished 9 lengths away in eighth last time out over 1200m at Niigata Dirt five weeks ago. Steps up in journey today. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. One of the main contenders. TRUST PYRO (6) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1400m at this track, beaten 2 lengths into seventh. Likely improver.
