GOING: G(4)

GAI ROBINSON MEMORIAL HANDICAP 1100m

Track: GOOD 4   Clouds (Max: 15)   Rail: Out 8m Entire. (Pent: 6.4).

Takshaka and Baalbek should lock horns early at a strong gallop. MUNGO JERRY (3) is knocking on the door of another victory, finishing just 0.8L off the winner in this company 21 days ago. He boasts a strong third-up record and Louis should get every possible chance from the alley. He only rises 0.5kg and with improvement likely he can go one better this time. TALK IT UP (1) had it all his own way up front in that event, dictating proceedings before kicking away to win by 0.8L. The claim of Cooper comes in handy as he'll carry less weight than last time. Should find the front again and take plenty of running down. BAALBEK (2) won well last start in easier grade, but rates highly with the drop in weight. The booking of Fiore is a positive sign and the inside draw suits his racing pattern. Has won 2/3 at this course and distance and can add to that record without surprising. TOWN HALL (7) wasn't far away last time over 1400m and while he does drop back in trip, he has sprinted well previously. Include. SUGGESTED PLAY: Mungo Jerry can turn the tables.
