A race that lacks early pressure on paper. Hayes-trained HIGH TEMPO (6) jumped out well and was beaten a whisker at Kilmore first-up. She's further improved, and the step up to the mile is ideal. Maps for a soft run and McDougall's booking is a decent push for her chances. HOT STOMPER (7) resumed at Werribee with a 1.8L defeat. She's at her best over this distance and is a threat. ZENTORNO (10) ran a decent race on debut and has jumped out since. Draws awkwardly, but Egan sticks aboard. He can improve and be in the finish. GRINZINGER GLORY (5) switched yards and didn't have much luck at Kilmore 47 days ago. She has jumped out since and can show more for a leading barn. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing High Tempo.
