Solid tempo likely from the outset with Lemon Supreme, Master Miyagi and Curious Magic prominent. MASTER MIYAGI (9) returns and makes his stable debut for Dale Groves. Carries good form as he ventures north, finding the frame in 6/9 starts. Looks to strike one of his easiest assignments to date and is a leading player. HYDROS (7) was no match for an impressive maiden winner when resuming over the 800m at Ipswich but still chased soundly to grab second. Is sure to improve with that run under the belt and will appreciate the extra 200m. The main danger. TUANAKI CREEK (4) came through a strong form race at Ipswich two back to go close to shedding the maiden tag last start. Draws to get all the favours from the inside pillar and is worth keeping safe.
