Genuine tempo with the speedy Makuraga Reine leading the way. MEISHO THEOS (8) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing fourth and beaten only 2 lengths over 1400m at this track after being in contention on the bend. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. MAKURAGA REINE (1) gave a sight here last time, leading until late before finishing fifth and beaten 2.25 lengths over 1400m. Will take catching again. M O BERRY (4) failed to feature last start but is a backmarker who gets home hard. Watch for a big run. LASTING BOND (3) progressed nicely last time out to finish just half a length from the winner in second over 1400m at this track. Best efforts measure up so capable of another big run.
