Strong early tempo with Hayday leading the way over Cosmo Navigator. ROARING BEBE (3) is ready to do something now after a 49-day break following a 1.8L defeat at this course and distance. He's been back to the trials since that effort where he has looked good, and Purton remains in the saddle with the winkers going on first time. Can raise the bar now. THE PERFECT MATCH (1) got the job done narrowly over this course and distance, arriving right on the post. He's had an easy trial since then and while he does rise in weight, the win suggested there was more to come from the 3YO. Can go on with the job. COSMO NAVIGATOR (6) ended up 1.3L off the winner last start at this track and trip when jumping a $4.90 chance. His recent performances stack up nicely in this field and the tongue tie is applied for today's assignment. Racing well and has his hoof on the till. HAYDAY (5) led all the way to win two back before bumping into a smart one most recently. Can take up the running and take plenty of catching.
