Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is right in contention. NANSEI RAPID (10) showed early speed from an outside draw and held a forward position before fading to finish fifth, beaten 5 lengths, when returning after a spell last start over 1200m at this track. Likely to measure up. BORN GENIUS (1) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing 15th at this track over 2000m. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. STAR OF FAITH (11) was allowed to drift back from a wide draw last time before finding the line strongly to score by 0.8 lengths over 1400m at this track. Will be doing his best work late.
