Raced once last campaign and finished second over 1400m at Urawa. Norifumi Mikamoto who has four wins when partnering stays on. Sure to play a big role. SUAVE CHARLES (7) is back after a break of four months. Looking to emulate his win at Ohi to kick off the last campaign. Boasts a first-up record of four wins and three placings from 12 starts. Rates highly and makes plenty of appeal. KARLSBAD (9) showed early speed from an outside draw and held a forward position before fading to finish ninth, beaten 16 lengths, last start over 1600m at this track. Solid top-three claims. LEVEL FOUR (4) finished third last time over 1000m at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths. Going up a level this time but he is good enough to play a major role.
