Good again last time out when prominent at the corner before winding up in second over 1400m at Mizusawa, beaten half a length. Well drawn and has strong claims. MAGICAL WORD (8) hit the frame two starts ago at Mizusawa but ran below par last time when sixth. Best figures measure up nicely. Can bounce back. SUNA ICHI GOLD (10) started at $1.90 last time on the back of a win at Mizusawa two starts ago but was below his best, finishing eighth. Looks well placed so expect a better result this time. WIDE KAISERIN (5) really dug deep to get the prize by one length three runs back at Mizusawa before filling a minor placing at her last two starts. Must respect.
