Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by She's Resolute. DESERT EDGE (1) couldn't get the job done over this course and distance a fortnight ago when edged out in a photo finish. He draws well again for Chris Parnham and he should be prominent from the outset. Can settle up front and get the job done this time around. MILYEANNUP (6) steps out to this distance for the first time following a 1.3L defeat over the mile at Pinjarra 21 days ago when running on well from the back. Brad Parnham hopping in the saddle is a good sign and if she can run out the distance, she'll take plenty of beating. SHE'S RESOLUTE (8) rises to this trip sharply and is on the 8-day backup. She wasn't far away at Belmont most recently and the booking of CJP suggests she's ready to fire now. She has plenty of upside and can notch up her maiden win without surprising. SHIVERINO (3) wasn't far away here last start in his second run back from a long spell. Fitter again now and is not to be discounted. SUGGESTED PLAY: Desert Edge can go one better this time.
