Has nine wins here. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Best form puts him right in this. JO BLACK (6) was in the money two starts back at this track but was unable to repeat the effort last time when 12th, beaten 10 lengths, at this track over 1400m. Finds a nice race and can bounce back. BALL THE MAHONEY (2) turned in a fine effort to score by 1.5 lengths at today's course and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. Must raise the bar but this looks well within his grasp. VALDERRAMA (3) started this preparation with a win then was less impressive last time out when fourth over 1400m at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths. In the mix.
