MAD ROULETTE (2) was well fancied when resuming last start and proved too strong, scoring by 0.8 lengths over 1400m at this track. Will be better for that latest run and is all set to make it two-for-two this prep. KAWATEN MAX (4) has two wins and two minor placings from four outings this campaign. Found one better last start at this track over 1400m after being handy all the way. Facing a tougher assignment but he is capable of running a bold race. WHITBY ABBEY (12) was an impressive winner last time over 1700m at this track, scoring by 8 lengths to make it 10 in a row. Has the early speed to cross from out wide. Will give backers a great sight. UP SHOGUN (10) pushed forward and was a determined winner by one length over 1700m at this track last time out. Has a good record here at this journey with four wins and a minor placing from six starts. Can figure in the outcome.
