TSUKAINO KIZUNA (4) progressed nicely last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished just a neck from the winner in second over 2200m at Funabashi after being in contention on the corner. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. HERO CALL (7) went forward last start over 2000m at Urawa and held on well for third, beaten 2.25 lengths. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is likely to play a big role. GLUHWURM (3) is back from a break of ten weeks. Raced below par at his only appearance last prep when eighth over 2100m at this track. Takayuki Yano has scored on him two times and is back in the saddle. One of the contenders. FORTUNETELLER (8) has not won for a long while. Last raced on May 8 when beaten 5 lengths into fifth at Funabashi over 2200m. Best figures measure up nicely. Can do a lot better.
