LAFONT (8) hit the line strongly on resumption at Kilmore over 1457m on heavy ground, getting back from a wide gate but picking up nicely to grab third with improvement to come. She'll relish the rise to a mile now and draws better for Neindorf who sticks. Go close at each way odds. NEVRA QUEEN (12) is coming off a dominant BM56 win at Hamilton on very testing ground, far too good for four rivals. More depth now but has to be respected. ROSE VELVET (3) won her maiden easily over this route on heavy ground when last seen and has the profile to go on with it for the in form Payne yard, she'll just need a bit of luck from the inside gate. INFINITE JEST (5) has just found one better in both runs back and should be ready to peak, respecting. TORN (1) doesn't win many but is going okay and should be working home late. SUGGESTED PLAY: Lafont to win.
