Strong tempo assured with Zena Boy, Zoe Shark and Kirksville rolling to the front. KIRKSVILLE (5) raced on the speed last start and battled on well but just found one better over 1000m at Gold Coast. Form this campaign has been strong with two wins and a second from four outings. Rock-hard fit for this and is expected to be right there when the whips are cracking. ZOE SHARK (1) closed last campaign with four consecutive minor placings and is back today after a break of three-and-a-half months. Has the pace and the right draw to find a good early position and will be in this for a long way. XERRI (2) loves this track and trip only missing a drum once in seven attempts. Gets 2kg off with the claim and looks all set to find winning form. RUM DIARY (8) turned in a much better effort last time out to score by a neck over 1000m at Goondiwindi. Well placed to feature in the finish again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Kirksville.
