Solid tempo anticipated with Leg Godt and Lady Enfield matching motors. BOSUN (1) returned in good order at Pinjarra when settling midfield and finishing 1.2L off the winner. He closed well there and should be better with that run under his belt. This shapes similarly and with improvement in store today, he'll be very hard to hold out. DROMORE CASTLE (3) missed in a photo finish on debut over 1100m here and steps straight out to 1300m. He was very impressive late and that suggests the rise in trip should suit. Can go one better today. LEG GODT (7) led last start and turned in the best figure of her career thus far at Pinjarra. Back to 1300m won't be an issue and she can find the front again under Brad Parnham. Improving with every run and she'll give them something to chase. OLAF THE SNOWMAN (2) can't be discounted after a solid return at this track and trip. UNWANTED NEWS (10) can make an impression first-up with CJP booked. SUGGESTED PLAY: Bosun gets the nod.
