Solid tempo with Michifuku pressing forward from an outside gate with Sugarfire not far away. SUGARFIRE (7) got a well-deserved win at Ipswich last time out and will have derived a stack of confidence from that victory. Looks ready for the step-up in trip now and should give backers a sight up on speed. YUKANUMA (2) was well fancied last start over 2245m at Grafton when third, beaten 3 lengths. Gets 3kg off from the inside marble and can bounce right back. MADALSA (4) drifted well back and failed to finish it off last start when sixth, beaten 5 lengths, over 1625m at Toowoomba. The engagement of Chloe Lowe is a positive move. Well placed and there is no reason why she cannot find winning ways. SUNNY DISPOSITION (8) finished second at Ipswich two runs back but was less effective last time over 2200m there, finishing eighth. Is better than that run suggests and has the talent to figure prominently. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sugarfire to win again.
