Reasonable tempo with Secreto Weapon probably leading but a few others should keep him honest. ELKYO (11) is still a maiden after 12 starts. Managed to fill a minor placing at this track two starts back before finishing fifth over 1400m at this track last time. Finds a nice race and this might be his day. SECRETO WEAPON (9) broke through for his maiden win over 1400m at this track last time, scoring comfortably. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Winning rider Niihara Shuma stays aboard and he cannot be discounted. NARINO DREAM (5) ran below expectations last time at Funabashi, finishing 13th and beaten 12 lengths starting at $3.90. Beautifully placed and is sure to be there at the finish. WINNER'S SONG (1) finished fifth when first-up from a spell last start over 2000m at Urawa after racing on the pace for much of the way.
