Expecting a strong gallop with Riko Nick and Karyn Heart taking up the running over Intruder. RIKO NICK (2) found plenty to salute by 3 lengths when resuming three runs back at this track before filling a minor placing at his last two starts. Sound record at this distance with five wins and eight minor placings from 18 runs and looks a top chance. INTRUDER (8) started at $3.60 last time but could only manage fourth at this track over 1000m. Yuji Iwahashi who has scored on him twice retains the mount. Best form puts him right in this. KARYN HEART (7) did well but found one better at this track and trip last start, beaten only a neck after being prominent at the turn. Finds a suitable race and may find the winner's circle. DIA NO GOTOKU (1) finished fourth at her most recent appearance over 1200m at this track. No surprise if she figured in the finish.
