Solid tempo with Viperstrike possessing enough dash to find the front. TOO TOUGH (8) resumes. Two runs last time in were both good, beaten a nose on debut at Mornington before a solid effort at Pakenham. Tricky draw and likely to get back but finds a very winnable affair and should be very hard to hold out. BOURNE LEGACY (13) has been solid in two runs to date, debuting at Caulfield Heath in a strong race before an even effort at Geelong. This should be easier again and he can improve. VIPERSTRIKE (9) tried hard on debut at Kilmore when sticking on for a two-length third. Expect improvement off that, he'll take catching. BOLD JESTER (1) is a gelding by King Of Comedy on debut for the Payne/Egan combination who has trialled well enough to challenge first time out. KARUMBA GIRL (10) was better last time and is in the minor mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Too Tough to win.
