Genuine pace with Makamae and Blacklist showing out along with Lygon Street Luigi working over. LYGON STREET LUIGI (6) has threatened his last two and comes back to the mile today. That won't disadvantage given the likelihood of a testing track. Rates well and gets his chance. BLACKLIST (10) won his Maiden here by a big space and followed with a near miss at the track at 70 level. Carries more weight but freshened up he's capable of bouncing back. RENOVATION SHOW (7) has led his last two on heavy tracks and held on for a place at Bendigo last time. Mott goes aboard today and he also has decent claims. BAVICIA (2) resumes for a leading stable and would be a hope if presented forward. He's back in grade and the 2kg claim is handy. SACRED EAGLE (3) will be sharper second-up and his best would see him in the finish. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Lygon Street Luigi.
