Genuine tempo with the speedy Spirits Burn Deep leading the way. DECISIVE LASS (2) returned well and looks primed for this third up. Attacked the line strongly in a decent contest when a narrow third over 1000m at Gold Coast. Placed at the trip and leading apprentice rides. Genuine top three player. LEICA MODEL (4) has a solid second-up record and is desperate for the 1400m now. Drifted back early before chipping away late when seventh over 1200m at Tamworth in a solid rating race. Winning rider back aboard and tempo suits. SPIRITS BURN DEEP (8) drops in weight with the key jockey change in this tougher contest. Stamped urgent from the awkward gate when a fading fifth over 1400m at Taree. Will hold a forward position from the good gate and give a ton of cheek. SO ROSIE (6) progressive mare with the three wins from her last four outings. Struck trouble at the start and got further back than expected before powering late to run fourth over 1115m at this track. Gives the impression that the 1400m will suit and represents great each-way value. SUGGESTED PLAY: Decisive Lass in a fairly even contest.
