Looks a solid tempo with Misty Metal finding the front. CAPTAIN EFFICIENT (2) has consistent form lines to his name. It must be noted that the horse that finished fourth in his last outing has come out and won since. He is having his peak run today and will be cherry-ripe. Piere Strydom is booked to ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him when it matters most. MISTY METAL (1) showed good speed when winning her maiden over this distance on the Standside course. She takes on stronger rivals but has scope and should be well up to the task at hand. LONELY AS A CLOUD (4) raced with his tongue over the bit last time. He continues to drop in the ratings and on best form shown, he can feature. PRINCESS LOLA (3) is better than her recent form suggests. She is having her peak run today and will be cherry-ripe. She runs well for Raymond Danielson and would not be a shock winner.
