A few sit handy but there won't be a great deal of early pressure. Handy three-year-old FIREWORK (1) returns for a third campaign. Impressed last prep, with the highest rating run of the three coming over this distance at Wyong when second-up. Trialled well at Hawkesbury recently and looks ready to run a big race. DENIAL (2) has transferred to the Mitch Beer stable and is back from a twelve-week lay-off. Only raced twice last prep and was close to the mark on each occasion in Victoria. A huge recent trial win suggests he is bang on target for this assignment. INITIATE (5) stepped up to today's trip for the first time last start and did a good job to find the line well for third at Wyong. Very fit and will appreciate the longer run home this time. ALL SAINTS (7) was poor last Thursday at Gosford but can improve today over the extra furlong. TENDI (10) is a chance if he can find the form that saw him beaten in a close finish over 1080m at the Canberra Acton two back. SUGGESTED PLAY: Concentrating on the two returning from spells - Firework and Denial.
