Kembla Grange   17 Jul 2025

GOING: G(4)

INVADES BENCHMARK 64 HANDICAP 1000m

Track: GOOD 4   Clouds (Max: 16)   Rail: +9m 1100m-W/Post, +6.5m Remainder.

Cracking tempo with Impact Zone and Welcome Gypsy leading the way. WELCOME GYPSY (3) stripped fitter and appreciated the drop in class last start when she led and held on for a very close fifth over this distance at Warwick Farm. Cherry-ripe now and back at the provincials so she looks the one to beat. IMPACT ZONE (6) was tested in the Listed Oxlade in Brisbane last time out but wasn't up to the task. Easy maiden winner at Newcastle prior to that. Big danger back in his right race today. MR ROCK IT (1) has all the stats that point towards a big run. Placed nine of ten at the trip, four of five here at 1000m, and eight of fifteen overall at Kembla. Racing well and should carry that on. XANADU MISS (7) lined up for only the third time when a determined maiden winner recently over this trip at Moruya. Tougher task today but there is plenty more to come from this mare. VINOLASS (2) knocked up when returning from a fifteen-month break at Randwick last start. Can do a lot better with that run under the belt back in an easier race. SUGGESTED PLAY: Welcome Gypsy to win with a saver on Impact Zone.
