No noted leader so it looks a very modest tempo. KAMIDE SEMPU (3) finished ninth at his most recent appearance on June 24 but did a good job to score a win in the previous outing at Morioka Dirt. Draws to advantage and has won fresh before. Rates highly and should take some beating. NOBO YUKI (9) was only beaten 1.6L two runs back then was midfield last start when sixth after being in contention on the corner. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run. YAMASHO CAT (7) showed little early dash last start but found the line strongly for third over this course and distance. Among the chances again. MEDAGLIA FLAME (2) was in contention on the turn and finished second last time when resuming from a spell, beaten 2.5 lengths. Will trim down second-up so anticipating another strong effort.
