No noted leader so it looks a very modest tempo. SYMBOLI NOEL (3) has switched yards since finishing ninth six weeks ago over 2600m at Sapporo. She has been tackling much stronger opposition so is nicely placed here and expected to go close. BOM DIA (4) struggled in tougher company two back but last time did much better when a 1.5 lengths second at this track. Rates well in this company and looks a definite winning hope. SHIRAYURI (1) returned from a spell two weeks ago when she was seventh at this track and trip. Fitter so expect a better run this time. BIRD OF HAPPINESS (6) is a seven-start maiden who finished second last time out after being prominent at the turn. Chance to shed the maiden tag.
