Lots of speed predominantly from Little Princess, Ma Belle Grise and Beau Valley. MIDNIGHT RULER (3) is a four-year-old War Decree gelding on debut. Has impressed at the trials with a dominant win here in readiness. Draws well and is expected to make a bright start. LITTLE PRINCESS (11) looked to be nearing her breakthrough, before turning in a poor one at the latest. Was too bad to be true and can bounce back sharply. INNOCENT SIPS (6) returns and is another who has caught the eye in her lead-up work. Contested some solid maidens in her debut prep and is well placed to make her presence felt. CINCHONA (5) strips fitter second-up and is worth including. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Midnight Ruler.
