SOLO PHRASE (5) kept chasing to place two back then was allowed to drift back from an outside draw last time but found the line strongly to finish fourth over 1200m at Morioka Dirt. May prove tough to beat. MEDATSU YATSU (4) returns from a layoff of four-and-a-half months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 1300m at this track. Looks a winning chance. HISTORY (3) resumes and won the last time he raced here three back. Draws well and is worth plenty of thought. DEEP STATE (7) turned in a solid run last start for fifth. Top-three prospect.
