Fast pace assured with Warrior Of Royalty, Luneluck and Cats Pajamas leading the charge. CATS PAJAMAS (3) won a good race in Grade 2 company last time out. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. He is the best-weighted runner in this contest and should start the new season on a winning note. BUFFALO STORM CODY (4) was running on when second over 1200m on the Turffontein Inside course last time. He finished sixth and not too far behind the top pick in his penultimate run. He is 1.5kg better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result. COLD SHINE (5) stayed on nicely when fifth over 1000m at Scottsville last start. He would have come on from the run and should be involved at the finish. LUHAMBA PHAMBILI (9) should have finished closer to the winner last time out. He was super-impressive when winning on debut and is not to be underestimated in this.
