Plenty of pressure on from the outset. SHOTGUN WILLIE (8) was running on when second over 1750m at Scottsville last time. He won his only attempt here over this trip. He does have an awkward draw to contend with, but Serino Moodley knows him well and he should give him all the necessary assistance from the saddle. On top. INGQWELE (2) followed up his maiden victory with a creditable sixth-place finish over this distance. He returns from an 11-week break, during which time he was gelded. Muzi Yeni steps back into the saddle and if suited to this course, he should be competitive. Each way value. PONGOLA (5) was unlucky not to have won last time. He has a good record on this course and the 5-year-old gelding will strip much fitter. If keeping on a straight line, he can have a say in the finish here. HENRY HARVEY (14) was an impressive winner on debut. He returns from an 11-week break, during which time he would have strengthened up. A wide gate is no help but he can remain unbeaten.
