Expecting Disturbia to take up the running with Matawai and Piccolo Fiore close at hand. ALMA RISE (5) is a progressive stayer who resumes here having run three times in her maiden campaign, winning second time out at Pakenham by five lengths before tackling the St Leger and running second over the 2800m. The mile will probably be a bit sharp for her but he's got the class. KIND GESTURE (2) resumes. Her form last time in reads very well for this against some handy opposition and she can run well. MATAWAI (3) won narrowly two back at Sandown Lakeside before an even effort last time. Suited here from the low draw and should go close. IGOTCHA (7) looks ready to peak third up out to a mile and will take beating. PARIAH PEARL (4) next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Alma Rise to win.
