Strong early tempo likely with several going forward, headed by Shy Na Komusume and Regle Regalis. SHY NA KOMUSUME (4) showed good early dash last time out and led for most of the way before being claimed and finishing a neck away in second over 1000m at this track. Will take catching. GUSHICHANNO HOSHI (8) didn't do a bad job when third last start over 1000m at this track, beaten 0.6 lengths. That followed a win at this track the start prior. Has a solid record at this course and distance. Meets some better types this time but a big run is on the cards. TAIKI BANDIERA (11) last raced on June 20 when sixth at this track over 1000m. Must raise the bar but this looks well within his grasp. REGLE REGALIS (3) raced on the speed and found plenty to score by 2 lengths at this track and trip last start which was an improvement on the first-up performance. Going up a level this time but he is up to the challenge.
