GENERAL FIREPOWER (1) will prove very hard to catch if able to replicate what he did last start at Sandown-Lakeside, given an easy time in front and making the most of it, racing away to score by 4.5 lengths. No harder here and he's a winner here already. NOBLE CONQUEROR (7) ran out a smart winner here second-up in a slightly easier race, proving far too good as the even money favourite. Will only strip fitter and can measure up. GRONKOWSKI (6) continues to race well, an easy winner at Warrnambool two back before a strong second behind a progressive at Sandown-Lakeside. That form should hold up. SAVILLE STREET (15) is right in the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: General Firepower to win.
