Plenty of speed runners engaged, with Sleepy Joe, Ibegood and Sutherland prominent. LADY ZAYDI (12) resumed over 800m last time out and turned in a solid effort to finish second at this track after she was well back on straightening. The extra journey should play into her hands and finds the ideal assignment. ARTIFACTX (8) is resuming from a break of five months for a new stable after finishing sixth over 1400m at Goulburn at his latest outing. Ran fourth in a trial at Doomben over 1000m. Generally runs well when fresh, recording two minor placings from three runs. Leading prospect. ZOODOO (9) was too good for a maiden field when resuming last start over 1200m at Kilcoy, scoring by 1.75 lengths. Must be respected now that the penny has dropped. FOR BETTER (10) stepping out at this circuit for the first time. Last appeared when she finished seventh over 1200m at Eagle Farm on February 18. Finds a suitable race and is in the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning towards Lady Zaydi.
