Dreams Of Thunder has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. SOSUEME (4) led all the way for a soft maiden win over 1106m at Port Macquarie two back then tried to repeat the dose over 1200m there last start but found a couple better late. Eligible for easier races but at the weights back to 1000m she will be hard to run down. VEECEE (1) was good first-up over 1200m then found a Country Championship qualifier over the same trip at Port Macquarie last time out too rich. Placed at five of eight over today's trip so although without a win in over three years he looks a sound each-way proposition. WITHSTAND (6) resumes. Has been in the money twice from three first-up runs so keep him in mind with the light weight. DREAMS OF THUNDER (2) has been safely held in two runs this prep at Gosford. Down in grade, strips fitter, and is twice a winner at this trip so she cannot be ruled out. Hard to see the winner coming outside of this quartet. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sosueme on top.
