Good tempo expected with Super Duck, Without Revenge and Russian Sub rolling forward. TUHINGA (2) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1625m at Toowoomba, beaten 2.5 lengths into sixth after being in the firing line on the bend. Well placed and there is no reason why he cannot find winning ways. SUPER DUCK (1) did little and finished 13 lengths from the winner in 13th over 1400m at Eagle Farm last start after being in contention on the bend, a less impressive effort than his fourth there the run before. Has the class to produce a better result. POWERFUL EAGLE (8) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 1400m at Dalby. Likely improver so plenty to like about his chances. RUSSIAN SUB (5) finished fifth last start, beaten 2.5 lengths at Ipswich over 1350m. Worth including for value. SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Trifecta 2,1,8,5.
