WONDER BLESS (10) doesn't have the best strike rate but ran a strong race when resuming from a spell last time out over 1400m at this track, finishing second and beaten 0.8 lengths after being in the firing line on the bend. Has a good record at this course and distance, including a win and two minor placings. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. AMERICAN TARO (2) is still a maiden after eight starts. Managed to find the placings at this track two starts back when resuming before finishing fifth over 1400m at this track last time. Likely to be about the money. OKEN FIGHTER (5) did well when resuming over 1400m at this track last start, finishing second and beaten 1.75 lengths. Overall record is sound when second-up and should be better for that first-up run. Can feature with the right run. SUNNY R (7) was in the firing line on the turn and finished third last start at the first run back from a spell over 1400m here. Fitter.
